Since obtaining my Diploma in Chemical Engineering, my aspiration has been to strengthen my skills and acquire new knowledge regarding this discipline.

Apart from the technical expertise, I was also interested in being involved in a multicultural environment in which I can grow not only as a professional, but as a person as well. My work at the Sustainability Unit was a great opportunity to gain practical experience in the maritime safety sector, as well as a deeper insight into pollution response practices.

The interaction with EMSA has informed me on environmental topics that not only trained me as an engineer but defined me as a responsible citizen as well.
