The training delivered on 25 – 27 May 2021 aimed at providing an overview of the international legal framework pertaining to Search and Rescue (SAR), the various levels of coordination, the concept of planning and coordination of SAR operations and the technologies available. The theoretical knowledge was reinforced using case studies and illustrated by best practices and lessons learnt by both the lecturers as well as the participants. 5 participants from BCSEA Project beneficiary Kazakhstan attended the virtual training session.
