From 29 April to 10 May 2024, EMSA offered to IPA beneficiaries a Core skills course for Maritime Search and Rescue Coordinators. The course was designed and developed by the EMSA Academy to provide participants with the necessary basic knowledge to Maritime Search and Rescue Coordinators for carrying out of maritime search and rescue operations, with a focus on the European dimension of such operations, as well as improving their capacity to apply internationally recognized procedures and European or regional agreements’ standards in the field of maritime search and rescue operations.

Four participants, two from Albania and two from Montenegro attended the course.
