Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems: Radon-X
Italy

Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems, or RPAS, are more and more used in maritime environments, as they are agile, flexible, and use much less fuel than conventional aircraft.

For even more sustainable long-range research activities and lengthy wide-area monitoring, the Guardia di Finanza have recently introduced an RPAS model equipped with multiple electric engines.

The Radon X can substitute both rotary and fixed wing conventional aircrafts for selected operations, and with its very high endurance, it can perform long-range activities with no emissions and very low levels of noise pollution.
