ROVs
EMSA’s ROV fleet is composed of a series of vehicles carefully selected to cover the most demanding needs from light Observation Class (OC) ROVs to Work class (WC) ROVs.
Depending on the technical characteristics of the operation, the vehicle is selected according to the requirements.
Work Class ROV
Work-class ROVs are heavy-duty underwater robotic vehicles designed for complex subsea tasks, like construction, repair and maintenance of offshore structures. They are equipped with high power thrusters, advanced manipulator arms, HD cameras and a wide array of sensors to perform work in deep sea environments.

Observation Class ROVs
OC ROVs are compact and agile underwater robotic vehicles equipped with ancillary equipment consisting of HD cameras, lights, sonar and USBL (Ultra-Short Baseline positioning system). They are primarily intended for visual inspections, surveys and monitoring of subsea infrastructures, although they may be able to carry one additional sensor (water sampler, laser, manipulator, etc.)
