EMSA is proud to once again support the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority with pollution response equipment.

Following a request from Ukraine, EMSA donated a full set of equipment including booms, temporary oil storage barges, and an air operated pump system.

The equipment will be used to tackle oil pollution in the Black Sea area, caused by the ongoing war of aggression against Ukraine.

The donation was made through the Black and Caspian Sea II project funded by the Directorate-General for Enlargement and the Eastern Neighbourhood and implemented by EMSA.
