From 29 April to 10 May 2024, EMSA offered to the BCSEA II Project beneficiaries a Part-time Course for Maritime Search and Rescue Coordinators. The course was designed and developed by the EMSA Academy to provide participants with the necessary basic knowledge for carrying out of maritime search and rescue operations as well as improving their capacity to apply internationally recognized procedures and regional agreements’ standards in the field of maritime search and rescue operations.

Four live sessions were carried out with Subject Matter Experts from EMSA, Italian Coast Guard and Irish Coast Guard. 7 participants attended the course.
