What type of expertise does EMSA offer in case of an oil spill?

Different types of expertise are available at EMSA, from on-site assessment of a spill, to contingency planning support, to overall coordination of response operations. However, the main area of expertise is in open-sea oil spill recovery, as this is the main task of the Agency.
