What is the relationship between the coverage and spatial resolution of the image and the size of the target vessels, for an optimal detection?

There is always a trade-off to consider between the satellite spatial resolution (level of detail that can be seen) and the size of the area covered by the satellite image. The size of the vessel(s) of interest and the area of interest must be included in the user’s request so that CMS team can make the best possible decision on what type of service to deliver based on this trade-off in accordance with specific needs of each operation.
