We try to provide information to all relevant stakeholders, but we receive many requests from students working on maritime issues and European affairs. Given the limited time that our experts have at their disposal, we simply cannot answer them all. While enquiries are dealt with on a case-by-case basis, as a general guideline any questions from students are more likely to be met with success if:
- they are sent by those working at doctorate level, not postgraduate or undergraduate level
- they are linked to an EU-funded project for research that has direct relevance to EMSA's activities
- they are working on an official project/study with support from, of under the auspices of, another EU institution or relevant Member State maritime authority.
Students are, of course, invited to browse the information available on the EMSA website. We especially advise you to look at our Work Programmes and Annual Reports for detailed information about the Agency's activities, budget, organisation and governance.
