The training course covered International and European legislation on liability and compensation for maritime claims, places of refuge, the 2010 HNS Protocol, the Nairobi Removal of Wrecks International Convention as well as practical exercises on related issues. The training was aimed at officials working in the maritime administrations and/or related organisations, dealing with the relevant topics. Participants had the opportunity to go through a number of case studies in order to have a better understanding of the legislation in place.
