The project addresses secure satellite communications (SatCom) services, with the aim of providing a user perspective  for a future EU GOVSATCOM system - a new component of the European Space Programme (2021-2027) - through an established cooperation between EU Member States representatives and EU agencies.

In the framework of ENTRUSTED, a European-wide survey aimed at identifying user needs and use cases for future EU GOVSATCOM services will be carried out between April and June 2021.

The survey is addressed to governmental and institutional users managing security-critical missions, operations and infrastructures. EMSA will be in charge of identifying and reaching maritime user communities that could potentially benefit from EU GOVSATCOM. The survey results will provide user requirements for EU GOVSATCOM.
