EMSA publications

EMSA likes to be as transparent as possible in its operations: we enjoy telling people what we do and how we do it.

The Agency publishes a range of documents to inform stakeholders about its activities. A General Brochure (in 20 languages, dating from 2009), together with a series of videos, provide basic information about the Agency.  The main practical documents describing EMSA's tasks are the yearly Work Programme and Annual Report. The Work Programme is published at the start of each year and describes the tasks for the current year. The Annual Report is published in the summer and provides a full overview of the previous year's activities, use of resources and budget.

Each month, EMSA publishes a monthly newsletter: subscribe to this in order to find out about new vacancies, news and projects at the Agency. On EU Maritime Day each year (May 20), EMSA publishes its yearly Maritime Accident Review, which looks at shipping accidents in and around European waters. EMSA also produces numerous leaflets and reports which provide more detailed information on the Agency's maritime applications, services and tasks. For example:
