  • Montenegro is invited to the organisation’s seminars and trainings of the Paris MoU. Funding from EMSA’s project for the Enlargement countries made the participation of one Port State Control Officer from Montenegro to the seminar possible.
  • The EU regime on Port State Control (Directive 2009/16/EU) has been based on the pre-existing structure of the Paris MoU, and the progress of the enlargement countries in the Paris MoU context is therefore of high interest of the EU.
