Two Training sessions on ISM Code & auditing techniques took place in Lisbon respectively on 6-9 February and 6-9 March 2018. Participants were Flag and Port State Control officers from the maritime administrations of the Member States. The course through a number of case studies ensured that participants became familiar with the basic principles of the ISM Code, including the different types of audits (Flag State, RO and internal audit), and developed a practical approach to the interpretation and application of the ISM Code.
