Who can use the CleanSeaNet service?
The service is available to all EU Member States, European Free Trade Association (EFTA)/European Economic Area (EEA) Member States and acceding and candidate countries and EU Overseas Countries and Territories. Services may also be provided to EU institutions and international organisations upon request. Nearly 30 countries use the CleanSeaNet. The service is integrated into national and regional pollution response arrangements, so operational users are the national authorities responsible for at sea oil pollution monitoring and operational planning, preparedness and response, such as maritime authorities and coastguard and naval services use.
